~ I Miss That Kind of Sleep~

As I close my eyes
I shut all the windows
Of here and now
So I can float
Between space and time
For the sake to grip
A second without thoughts
That keeps knocking my walls
For no reason
Except to snatch my stillness

"Enjoy your sleep, its an only place where you can just shut the chaotic world"

That is so very true. Easy to be lost there and never want to come back.

I have been thinking about sleep the last few days. This poem really speaks to the sacredness of the act of sleep. I like how you placed a delibertness in you actions and created the space you needed.

My poem of about lack of sleep can be found at Night Movies.

Keep up the good writing.
